Gozalandia Parking: The Fee, Hours and When the Lot Fills

$10 per vehicle, cash

An attendant at the gate collects $10 in cash from every vehicle, once, for the whole day. One car with one person or five people costs $10. The rate older guides quote ($5) is out of date. Current visitors consistently report $10 per vehicle.

Bring cash

The lot does not take cards. The restaurant may take cards; the attendant does not. Bring cash or you cannot park.

Gate hours

The gate is open roughly 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Opening time drifts — sometimes it is closer to 10 a.m. Closing is 6 p.m. The lot is locked outside those hours. Plan your visit within that window.

When the lot fills

At 9 a.m. on a weekday there are roughly ten cars. After 10 a.m. it fills fast. By late morning on weekends it is full. After 4 p.m. it quiets down again. Attended parking means spots are available, but if you are planning a specific time on a weekend, come earlier or later, not mid-morning.

The $5 figure is stale

Many travel blogs still quote $5. That was the rate before. The current rate is $10. Bring $10, not $5.

The campground is separate

Gozalandia Waterfalls Campground is a separate 50-plus-acre private campground with its own parking and reservation system. Day visitors park at the main gate on Route 446, not at the campground. Why entry is free at the main gate.
