My verdict: this is the cheapest listing on this site and for a reason: it’s El Yunque, not Gozalandia. El Yunque is at the opposite, eastern end of the island, roughly 2.5 hours away. The tour includes natural waterslides, cliff jumps, swimming holes and photos. Self-drive by default, which is why it’s a lower price. But Andrew’s review surfaced an unresolved complaint: the guide promised photos and didn’t deliver them.

What the tour is like

Check-in is at Ralph’s Food Warehouse in Fajardo. The guide wears a "UR Guide PR" shirt. By default, this is a self-drive tour — you meet the guide there, and you’ve navigated the road from your hotel. If you want a shuttle from San Juan, Carolina, Luquillo or Fajardo, you book that in advance for extra money — it’s not included at $40. The tour covers natural waterslides, cliff jumps and swimming holes in El Yunque National Forest. Small groups, free photos.

Real feedback: Tal warned "unless your bag is waterproof, do not bring anything you don’t expect soaked. The tour guide takes pictures of you." Nuria said Ivan "taught us a lot about the history and flora of El Yunque". Nicole loved Claire: "kind, friendly and knowledgeable. Always made sure we were all safe." Anyone comfortable self-driving to Fajardo on Puerto Rico’s roads and who wants adventure at El Yunque specifically. Not at Gozalandia — they’re at opposite ends of the island. If you want Gozalandia itself, the three-hour guided tour is your answer. If you want a full day from San Juan without driving, the Cueva del Indio tour stops at Gozalandia instead.
